Today’s a big day. We are kicking off the development of uwit®daily! Woohoo!!!!!!
That right there is a “shout-out-His-glory” moment. So, let’s stop right now. Seriously. Stop right now and BLOW OUR TRUMPETS.
In advance of our fall kick-off meeting, I’m inviting each of you to be the priests, to walk around Jericho, to blow our trumpets. Expectantly! God said “See, I have given Jericho into your hand.” Notice that he didn’t say “I might give,” “I could give” or even “I will give.” He said, “I have given.”
Past tense.
That’s an “It is done. It is finished” kind of statement. God determined the victory in advance. Now, I won’t step across theological boundaries and declare that God HAS determined the same for uwit.
But I will say this ….
Eighteen years ago — this very week — God gave me Isaiah 43 (our namesake) three different times in three different ways. Five years ago, God wooed me back from the wilderness with Isaiah 43. Then, over the past four years, God has directed me to Isaiah 54 a whopping FIFTY-SIX times in a variety of different ways! And finally, three years ago, Tim Lucas prayed over me as I begged God for clarity on purpose. And the Lord gave me Isaiah 37:30-32. That, my friends, is a timeline. And guess what. We are in year three!!!
So, please check in daily and bring a daily sacrifice of prayer and praise to our God.
Let’s walk around uwit®daily with praise — believing in advance that God is going to do this thing.
Let’s walk around the peoples and churches that will be impacted — knowing that God will transform hearts and ministries.
Let’s walk around every community that will be changed — convinced that the Great I am can still break down walls of resistance and unbelief, pain and suffering, chaos and division.
Let's start with praising God for what He has already determined — whatever that may be.
